Long as it's not the last one!
I to was wondering the same!
Currently working on a 1981 Yamaha XS650 Special
newbie question....can I run a timing light off a 12 v trickle charger or even a battery tender with alligator clip attachments?
I believe you can, as long as the - (neg) clip is also attached to bike ground. At least that is my experience from trying to power my timing light from a free standing car battery, while the bike was running from its own battery. This did not work, until I connected the free standing battery neg. to the bike ground.
I would also suggest you post any future questions in the "Garage"
Might be dicey Those might be an ugly pulsed DC not a solid constant 12 volts.
