What are you guys using for engine paint? I've used HD texture Black before but that gets pricey ($20 per can) I want black and the natural grayish color. any ideas? thanks

Ive always used dupli-color engine enamel with good results. Its only 6 bucks and can and they have oodles of colors.

This is what I used. It has a nice satin sheen and hasn't flaked yet. I have seen my temps jump up about 20 degrees though. Or maybe I took my previous readings on cooler days. Guess I should have gone with POR-15.

On a 95F degree day I'm seeing temperatures at the sparkplug of about 330F on the right, 315F on the left.

thanks fellas, I don't want to use a paint that traps the heat. I don't know if they make a special paint for air cooled motors or not. thanks for the input.
