Default Chrome Removal and Powdercoating question.

I have a rim I would like to use but at the moment its chromed. My question is can the chrome be removed and be powdercoated? I would presume it would have to be media blasted one way or another but is there a best way to do it?

I should have added the reason why I am asking this question here is because I am looking for a shop that can do the work for me as I live in the ass end of nowhere.

Thanks all. Ian.

PS will be posting pics/build thread soon.

Ian if the spokes are removed you can take it to a chrome shop and have the process reversed and then take it to the powder coaters. I have done this with my fenders. TC
