I finally got my master cylinder rebuild kit in from mikes and with the help of my buddy, got it installed. I just want to make sure I have the reservoir together right, or if we're missing something, because we cannot get it to seal. It seems to leak around the top where the rubber diaphragm and metal bracket and plastic lid all go together. I had to look up online to see how the lid and diaphragm went together and it seems to go, (from top down) lid > metal bracket (with inside edges curving downward) > rubber diaphragm with the little "nipple" in the middle facing upwards (not in contact with the fluid). However, it doesnt matter how tight the 4 phillips screws are, there still seems to be a leaking sound with some fluid around the top when the brake lever is pumped and we cant figure out why its not sealing. are the any washers we are missing between the plastic reservoir and the lid??

That's all that's in mine. I don't know why yours is leaking. Good luck though
