I'm having a hell of a time getting the sprocket nut off. Tried a two foot breaker bar with all my weight on it (I'm 220lbs). Hit it with a impact wrench, no good. Any tips? Oh, I got my handlebars in, I love em'.

The last one I did the chain was attached, with somebody stood on the brake pedal, with me using a breaker bar with an extension tube fitted on it ( bit of scaffolding ).

it kinda looks like you haven't peeled the lock washer back in that pic?

Apply some heat to the nut. Then use the breaker bar/impact wrench.

+2 on the heat, you be surprised how a little MAP gas torch can loosen stubborn parts! Then hit it with impact.

Just hit it several hundred times with a BFH... :jk:

Seriously though, make sure that tab is as flat as you can get it. Maybe a couple of shots of BP blaster and let that sit for a while. Then add a little heat, a breaker bar, and use the BFH on the breaker bar.

Bars look nice, where'd you get them?

I actually haven't used my nut splitter since i got my new impact guns a couple x-mas' back. Picked up an Aircat t1000c - it's frickin phenomenal on backing off recalcitrant nuts and bolts.
