mine was slipping no matter how I adjusted it, slipped under hard acceleration towards the top end of rpm scale when it would toss down the whoppin' 50 ponies, anyways, changed from a 20w50 to a straight valvoline 50wt.
Its a whole different world as far as clutch strength goes.

That stuff would be like sludge in the winter. I might try it through the summer though.

depends on whar' ya winter.
This is Houston, our winters are not considered winters. but really, swap to a thinner in the colder months, would be probably due anyways after a summer of abuse.
