I like the secret/hidden actuator features, adds to the confusion.
Imagine incorporating something like that to your bike.

The turn signal switch would be the kill switch.
The kill switch would be the turn signal switch.
The horn button would be the starter button.

The starter button would trigger a NFC (Near Field Communication) receiver buried in the seat that would read the imbedded microchips in the rider's wallet credit cards and transfer $5000 to your PayPal account.

A real theft deterrent.

Or a good way to sell your bike...

I love these old mechanisms. I used to enjoy designing the robotics for my animatronic Company many years ago We think we are so clever but they made some fantastic Automatons back in the old days . Some of them could play chess ! then there were the amazing planetary clocks and pianorolls .
 
Once there's more than three compartments I have to open them all every time to find what I put in them.
But it is cool mechanical art.

I edited this video a little while back. Took a heck of a lot of time to do but I enjoyed it. It prob. isn't as cool to people who weren't there but eh, what the heck. :D
