my bike randomly cut out when i was riding yesterday. i had no spark. i was bummed out cuz i was 25 miles from home with my girlfriend on the back of my bike.
today i changed the plugs. the old plugs didnt look bad at all.
i checked the coil. it read 4.3. i checked the capacitor with the volt meter and got 0.00.
i checked my buddies capacitor and i got 0.00 also.
im running a hughs handbuilt PMA, pamco, and sparx capacitor. its a 83 with stock carbs. just rebuilt. i havent heard any problems since i converted it to the PMA.
this is my only way around town.
any ideas?

My standard recommendation is to temporarily wire the PAMCO directly to a fully charged battery that is not connected to the bike in any way. This to see if it is an ignition problem or a PMA problem.
