"PureBred Fabrications"
Alright well i cant hold out any more .. ive got this thing about 90% done. The bike was purchased for $1000 last september and has been a work in progress for the last year. I probably would have finished it alot sooner had it not been for shattering my leg last fall leaving me in a wheel chair and crutches for about 2 months. I didnt get a whole lot of fab hours in the bike until this spring around march and since then have put the peices together to build what i named "down to brass tax". The bike isnt anything crazy .. pretty common actually. I went for a clean look that i found appealing but still has enough edge to turn a couple heads locally cruising down the street. This is my first XS build and my partner is also building one separately himself. Because it was the first one i decided to go with a weld on tc brothers kit went from there. The rear fender is a '36 ford spare tire ring cut down. Tail light (not shown in picture) is from a '37 Ford. Fleabay headlight and solo seat and 70's peanut tank. Rear struts, pegs, exhaust, bars, seat risers, license plate bracket, solo seat hinge brackets, heat shield, battery box, and all other random brackets and flanges were made by me in my garage. Gold leaf graphics from a friend.. brass exhaust tips from lowbrow.. brass kicker from fleabay. All electrical components contained in the military bags. Radioshack rectifier. BMX grips .. modified .. Black spokes and everything else mostly. Ive been slowly going through the hardware and swapping everything with brass hardware and its looking great. Still to come .. firestone replicas .. and im designing a leafer springer this winter to go on it as well. Anyways enough about that crap here are some pictures. The tail light and plate bracket have been since scraped and re done. Ill be getting sime nicer shots done with a friend in the next couple weeks hopefully.
Hope you guys like it as much as i do.
