heres mine. getting very close, just need my pipes to finally get here and a good tuning. Ill prob leave her as a rat bike for now and tear her down for paint when the snow starts flying. Such an awesome project, and I am so glad I actually nutted up and decided to do it. Everything went very smoothly. She even started, not just turned over, but full on start and idled on the very first kick in over ten years. I will finish it under 2k before paint, much less then I was hoping. Got it licensed today. The video is of its first ride. Still have a bit to do, but I have a feeling it will never truely be finished.

Here are a few of my '80. I bought it like this as I wanted something to ride while I work on building out my XS750 for a cafe project.
Nice Bike going to worth a few dollars down the track.
Keep that nice one original.
I like the black I'm thinking of getting a black tank and side covers to change my low mileage 79.
I will just use the red ones for shows.

Rim wasn't that bad in price, it's that you have to get a whole new front end to make it work.
