Since Elswick's notches on the seatstays didn't line up very well, I decided to cut the tubes off completely and make my own. Ended up dropping the seat an inch or so and moving the bends back to flow better with the lines of the seat.

Seat was made at a shop called Rich Phillips Leather. They're only about 20 mins from me so I went there to pick it up. I arrived as they were finishing my seat and snapped a few pics of the process. Check em out at http://bikersaddles.com/ they also list on eBay.

Hey. That's me in the first pic with the sawzall. Seems like I went a little deep and cut into the frame. He (my Son) might have got mad at me for that one. :wtf:

Looking good guys!
I wish I had a workshop like yours, and all the tools: I've got a small shed to work in...and its always raining here so can't leave anything outside:(

I gotta give credit where credit is due.

All I did was some cutting with the sawzall. It killed me to cut up a good motorcycle. But I must admit,,the final product is looking bad ass.

The rest is all his. He designed everything. Him and his buddy did the welding at his buddies shop.

The first several pics are his garage. Nice and clean,,,organized. The later pics are his buddies shop. Big!!. He builds race car frames.

Now my garage is a little different. All though I have you beat on size.... I'm not very well organized. But my plan for today is a little garage cleaning. :D

I guess I better stop highjacking his thread.
