- do you have a bush or a roller bearing in there...well, ive never had to do this, but i could imagine using a long thin brass drift to tap them out from behind, or a small bearing remover to pull them out

Do you think a drift set from harbor freight would work? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=66337

- i doubt theyre long enough..go to a building centre or home depot or such and get a length of brass rod, thinner than the points/advance timing rod, cut say 150mm longer...you want to put a flat or slightly concave surface on the drift end
- do you have the points and advance housings off yet...they can be somewhat problematic... |

Yeah I've got the housings and everything off, I even have the cam pulled out of the engine..
When I use a drift to get them out, Do I go all the way through from the opposite end and just know the one bushing out? and then do the other side the same way? ...Kind of a dumb question maybe but i've never used a drift before |

I used a 12mm anchor bolt expanded inside and hit out from the other side.
