1981 Scrambler XS 650 work in progress. I rescued this poor bike. The PO was riding it daily, when I got it home I found all the engine mount bolts were no more than hand tight. The engine ran great and the owner before the old PO had modified it somewhat and showered it with love and attention.

So I just picked up this 77. Seems fairly solid. Few things I noticed is when standing and I rev it in gear with clutch in it moved forward ever so slightly. Clutch adjustment should take car of this? Rear brake is not very strong Speedo not working Tach not working although it works...

Hi guy's, I am going to be starting on my frame and was wondering if anyone in building a tracker style bike had wish they had left a bracket or removed a bracket before powder coat. I would hate to get everything back a start to assemble and regret removing something needed. Thanks
