What looks best, a third party seat or a stock seat?

My xs came with a dead cool seat 🤭, though it was a bit shabby. Unfortunately I couldn't find a new cover for it.
So I just kept looking on eBay until a suitable standard second hand one came up. It was solid enough, but needed recovering and the pan repainting.
There's a great post in the tech section by mailman on recovering a seat. It wasn't too difficult and cost me less than £100.

Whoohoo ! Just got a brand new Heiden tuning seat for £160 shipped.
Made in Taiwan, so I'm assuming that this is the same seat that XS650.com sells.
Price from Heiden is €246 plus shipping, and I think that VAT would have to added at 20%.
It's very good quality, but still not as good as the Yamaha original, unfortunately.
I've also bagged what is apparently a Diablo Cycles seat cover for £30. Also made in Taiwan, and looking identical to the cover on the repop seat.
Made in the same factory in Taiwan ?
