After completing the 75b front end redo this close to riding season I didn’t want to remove, relace and redo the original rear wheel until winter. I had no worthy spares left and was able to purchase a worthy candidate 75b rear wheel from Halfmile.Quite a pleasure to speak to Phil and purchase from him. The wheel arrived this afternoon very nicely packaged.Time to order spokes.I’ve learned it’s a good idea to remove 2 or 3 inner and outer spokes correctly and save for reference. The rest I snip with bolt cutters.A cut off wheel works fine as well.I’m starting by stripping the original clear first after spoke removal.

Phil is a first rate seller and packager! I almost bought that one too but just stuck with the front. I got my stainless spokes from 650direct in Canada. Great prices!

I agree.A true “Man of his Word.” I wanted to buy the front as well but he said you had wanted it. I surely had no qualms with that.Glad you got it. I too am impressed with XS650 Direct spokes and other parts.Fair prices, excellent prompt service.

A light fine media blast of inner rim, inner hub,and applied hammered finish to hub.First polishing of outer brake plate and hub.I’ve found by a light blasting of inner rim allows an easier inspection.Stripping rim factory clear and initial polishing next.

A couple sets of 75b and all years TX/XS 650 rear wheel bearings arrived this afternoon.I’m definitely guilty of being STUPID.Some day, I’ll get smarter with my thread posts.OR NOT.🤝

Just make sure you don’t accidentally throw away the rear wheel bearing spacer. Easy enough to do:banghead:
It’s only sold by 650 Central unless like with me, another forum member comes through.IMG_2912.jpeg
