I did a little cool weather riding yesterday and today. About 200 miles altogether. Nothing like the freezing wind in your face to fight off the cabin fever. It's never too cold to ride around my neck of the woods as long as the sun is shining and the roads are clear. And my old XS just loves the cold air.

Who else rode today>

At 10º with an amusing little breeze, I didn't go outside much, let alone ride.

I did get my new rear sprocket installed and the tire mounted and balanced, does that count? :bike:

If I were in Maine it would count! I took a bus to Boston back in January to pick up a straight truck I'd bought. When I got off the bus the snow was up to my crotch. I quickly remembered why, after 28 years of trucking, I was no longer trucking. I finally finished with the paperwork at about 3:00 PM and fired up the truck. Even though I'd not slept in 2 days I got in the truck and drove south just managing to beat the traffic out of Boston until I found clear roads just south of Harrisburg, PA. Then I slept for about 4 hours before continuing home. :bike:

Well Bill I road every last week but not today I cleaned her up and put on new mirrors. But I will be on her in the mornin at 6:30 again. Not to bad I do wear full face when it is cold. I call cold 60 :D and 7 feet above sea level and cool air makes happy engine for sure :bike:

I went out for a while Fri, Sat and today. A little cold today, at 40 degrees and some wind, but a good couple days. Took out another bike as well today for a grocery jaunt. They are repaving the roads here, so they are all jacked up. Just the lanes are paved though. So if you need to get into, out of or cross the turn lane area, or use the shoulder, hang on, there's quite the lip.
Rebuilt the XS master cylinder, tuned up the Honda, played on the computer inside to warm up, then back out in the cold, cold shed for some more work.
Time to watch some Poirot and eat food. My feet are froze.
The shed of tears never gets any sun light, anytime of the year and no heat. It's been a very mild season so far, but the past couple days have screamed winter is here.

It's in the 60s here; no problemo. Yes, a little Spanish is sneaking in...

I just finished the PMA and Pamco so now I can ride AND have the battery charge. So I went for a short little ride. About 45 minutes, but it was in the 60's, so hardly cold weather riding.

that's shitty, littlebill. hopefully the weather will cooperate long enough for you to get your truck sorted.

I rode yesterday but did not today... I did fire up my T140 for a bit just to hear it purr and watch the smoke show.

That's a blessing in disguise, Littlebill.

1. Your truck can't kill you for awhile.
2. You are forced to ride, like you should have been doing anyway.
3. You get to fix your truck, which is fun. Admit it.

I got to ride all over town today - bank, starbucks, food store, post office, toy store and gift shop, bbq brisket restaurant. Tomorrow, early stop at the post office, then 15 miles up a hillside to work and back, rain or shine.

4º. I think I'm gonna pass again.

Hey, I'm old, it's okay to be a wuss...:)

I've rode at 4º but I was young and stupid at the time. I'll do 20º in the sunshine but not in the dark. Fairing helps a bunch too. We had low 60s yesterday and high 50s today but the rain is creeping in so it's going to be a couple of days in the Toyota.

Somebody was telling me the old timers would drape a blanket over the tank and fix it in front and fix it over their legs so the engine kept them warm. Lot of wasted heat coming off of there when it's 4º.
