Ok,

So my bike is straight piped and way to fucking loud. I work at 7 each morning, and have a family living in my basement. Not to mention the local pigs are bored and like to ticket the loud bikes.

My pipes are 1 3/4" od at the tip, and the wider part is about 8"s long.

So Im looking for some slide in baffles, 1 3/4"s that are at least 8"s long so i get a nice snug fit. I dont want the bike the bike to be whisper quiet like stock, I LOVE the sound of it right now, just want to bring down the decibles.

I have got some stainless scouring pads that I can throw in with the baffles to help as well,

Anyone have any experience with what im talking about? I have a couple links, and want to know any suggestions.

These?

i have the shorter version of what mouser linked to. it only takes the 'snap' or, ear-ringing noise at idle out.

James what do you suggest? What about the low brow ones or similar, with some steel scrubbys behind them?

Nah I like the pipes the way they are..all heat wrapped up and painted pretty. Slidin something in with a single bolt is a hell of a lot less work

Make this from EMT, aka thinwall, from Home Depot. It is friction fit, no drilling holes in your pipes. Make longer or shorter as you wish. Add more bolts and nuts as you wish. Wrap steel wool around it before you insert as you wish.
Simple, effective, will improve performance, I've made a lot of these.
