Introducing project BOARDCHOP! The inspiration behind this next build has heavy boardtracker and chopper influences, thus "Board Chop". I must have 30+ drawing mock-ups but the following drawing below is the closest to the look I'm going for in this next build.

Ended up deciding to go with a banana style girder front-end.

It that the voodoo vintage girder front end? That thing is amazing, pricey as all hell, but holy moly is it good lookin'! In general I really like your builds, both your other bikes came out gorgeous, but I just don't get the mismatched wheels. I never understood why anyone would do that on purpose. What am I missing here?

Looks good on paper. If you get a chance ask Voodoo why they bailed on the Kawasaki 1000 chopper build thread they started. I really wanted to see the finished bike. Nice front end. Off to a good start.

Voodoo vintage currently does not offer a girder front-end, Else I'd be all over it.
In terms of rear wheels, I want to run a 18" out back but the invaders don't come in the size unless I have them custom made which I am considering. I might run a mag out back or run another set of blacked out moon-eyes.

All my builds start off on paper. Always.

Invader wheel I plan to run on the front end.

I was planning to use these inverted levers on the last build but I think it would suit this one more.

You are right sir! I was referring to this leafer they make which is incredible. That girder you've got there must be a harley one then I imagine, where did you get it? It's gorgeous.

I understand what you mean with the wheels now, I would definitely go the route of having a matching 18" made, those are very unique wheels and a set of them would really set the build off.

The first girder I posted is a P&P and the other is a custom one being made.
Most custom front ends have a 1" stem which is standard. The P&P I had actually had a 7/8 removable one.

In terms of the rear wheel, we'll see how the 18" mags look, else I'll consider getting a matching rear.

Just did a search on xs650 invader wheel and saw this bike. Looks bad-ass. It looks like it might be worth the effort to get matching rear.

RutRo, I see I'm going to have to keep an EYE on You again!

There is something so cool about a girder can't quit put my finger on what that is.
Oh well it doesn't matter they are just way cool.

@Carbon haha brother! I'm at it again..

@airwolfie, reelop19 Thanks! Can't wait to get her as a roller. Still in the collecting parts phase.

Have you thought of a colour scheme yet? I'm thinking brass, copper black and browns, yes kind of like steampunk! But I can see this would look the part!
