My on the cheap bobber build thread.

It finally stopped raining here! We got lucky as the weather is worse a little farther east of us.
I got the other decal on the switch side. The vinyl is really easy to work with! I was gonna pull my switch out, but installed over top and cut it out. Turned out good.

Looking Good!

Been working on and testing my buddy's car for DragWeek this year.. We'll be stopping in Topeka and Great Bend in Kansas this September.... Been riding the ole XS to work about 2-3 times a week... I hope all is well with you...

Just bought this 2011 Vulcan 900 Classic SE on Tuesday.
It only had 1538 miles on it. Just love it.
I'm selling the XS650, but I'm not in a hurry! I had to replace the rear wheel bearings last week, started to hear a squeak. Sprocket side bearing was bad. Replaced with ALL Balls seal and bearing set. All is good.

Hey John, Mighty fine looking bike Man
I think You should keep the XS650 that boy of yours looks perdy good on it.
Hell You look good on it too.
Bikes need company they are pack animals!

Thanks Carbon. I ran that by the wife about my son riding and that's not looking too good!
I wish I could keep both,but I don't have the room. I agree,they are pack animals!

No, it's fun to ride my little XS,but not for very long or far. The bike is a hoot around town and for short trips.:bike: The need to ride to work every once in awhile and to cruise with my buddies in comfort for longer rides were the main reasons. Hey man, don't "HATE" on my hardtail!:wink2:

Hey Paul! I know I'll regret it already.
The fact is I need to sell it to cover some of the cost of the new bike and some accessories.
