Hey Full, like what you have done, I'm more of a restorer with upgrades type of guy, but your build really caught my eye. I love it good job keep posting updates. Are you planning spoked wheels to replace your mags?

Hi FJZR04 thank you... yes I will be looking to change out the front end and swingarm so I can run disc brake spokes. The mags are holding out it's more about the limited choice of dual purpose tire for the 16'

Here is my brand new(to me) 1980 XS650. I've been waiting years to own one of these. All it needs so far is: a gas cap, side covers, air filters, ignition, fix rocky starter, fix sticky throttle cable and directional relay. I'll definitely do some suspension work when I can. I'd like to get some lower bars. I'll be on the forums a lot. You people have put up some great information. Any other 650 owners in VT hit me up!

great looking bike yoozy I hope you'll post a few on the UK site :wink2:
I like the seat and bars must be a comfortable ride .

Taaa mate. It is a really natural position, fits this fat lad nice. The seat is surprisingly comfortable seeing it's so thin
