Hi guys, posting from Australia.

Just got a 1973 TX650 and going to do the funny chopper look. I want to fit a king-queen seat, happy to do some minor welding/fab if need be. Anyone got any they want to sell? I know a lot of people didn't like this look back in the day, surely there are some laying around.

This thread has probably been posted before, please link me to it if so!

Are you familiar with chopcult.com? They go up for sale all the time. If you're on Instagram follow chopperswapper. Same story as with chop cult. If you wanna go really custom get ahold of Wes at counter balance cycles. Good luck!

:bike::bike::bike:louis! im in australia also, not many around other then making them yourself! is your bike hard tailed or have a brat kit? if it doesn't i have something you may want I'm located near byron bay tho!

Hi louis and welcome,
well I did have one but alas I gave it away years ago and the shipping would kill the deal anyway.
What I can do is suggest a way to make your own.
Make a seat pan the exact shape you want out of corrugated cardboard and masking tape.
Cover it both sides with a couple of layers of fiberglass.
This is the shadetree mechanic's version of the cavity-laminate material used in aircraft.
It's light weight and as strong as a bastard.
Build in some steel hardpoints with studs sticking out or with threaded holes in to bolt the seat down.
Foam and fabric cover the pan yourself or use a professional upholsterer.
