I don't think you can go wrong either way... Dual disks are overkill for braking needs, but it helps with the balance (look-wise) of the front...definitely not critical in my opinion.

My $.02 on the dual discs: I had dual stock discs for a while, but went to one when I swapped to R6 forks and R6 (blue dot) four-pot caliper. When you can barely get over 100mph, the extra disc is pretty much a fashion accessory. Nothing wrong with that. If you like the look, go for it. I went with one to save the many pounds of unsprung weight.
