Just bought this '75 from a Norwegian who has moved home from Australia. He brought the bike with him but back but he had given up making it run after a number of unsuccessful "upgrades". The wiring is a real mess so I think the best option is to replace the entire harness. The starter will turn the engine just a for a second or two before it disengages. The fork seals are leaking badly after they were replaced by prying the old ones out with a screwdriver and scoring the fork sliders.
But the compression is OK and there is no rust or crash damages, so I think this may be a manageable project during the rest of winter.
