Just picked up my winter project last weekend. Very clean and runs great (8,300 miles). Has a few minor issues I'll be working thru. These bikes are so much fun!
The second king and queen to show up within a week !

Haha! The king/queen seat is in one of the issues I've already worked thru. Fortunately, it came with a normal seat, too.
I hope you keep it for your personal 1980's custom bike parts museum.
We need to preserve those great items.
Here's one of mine:
JRvantage's seat is a JEN-U-WINE yamaha seat, I have one.... Not sure if some of the specials came with that seat or if it was from the dealer parts catalog. A Yamaha sissybar was usually with those seats.

The pan looks just like the "normal" seat pan, but with the backrest welded on. Very well made stock seat, for sure. Problem I have with the setup in the picture is that at 6' 3", taking a sharp corner requires me to move my knee waaay out so I can get those goofy handlebars turned. I must have looked ridiculous riding that thing! Normal seat and euro bars should do the trick.
When I show guests my '80's custom bike parts, I put Pat Benatar on the stereo system.

its a beauty for sure, with the one exception mentioned lets see it with the normal seat.

It's kind of apart right now. Threw on the normal seat and a 1979 tank. Original tank in the previous pic has a leaky seam toward the rear right. Waiting on shorter brake line, clutch and throttle cable. I think the profile of the bike is much improved. John
