Actually technically the main photo requires a "bleed" of .125" on each edge so the full size pic should be 8.25 x 11.25" to be safe...

That means that an 8Mp pic in 4:3 format just barely makes it.

To reiterate from the first post, and from previous years:

"You will need to send 3 or 4 high quality photos of your bike with no logos or watermarks (min dimension to be posted later) and your name, location, bike year/model, and SHORT bike bio via email to Shawn."

Sent mine in. Hope Gmail doesn't choke...

Our rides come in all sorts of creative configurations and paint schemes, but what joins us, perhaps, is this wonderful beast of an engine and the unique riding experience it provides.

.

I agree with you 100% 'Dude. And although I respect everyone's opinions and right to like what they like, I think XS650 motor is incredibly versatile, and is one of the only that performs well, and (visually) looks like it belongs on damn near any type of build. Now... I'm not advocating anyone go out and start cutting up solid bikes (there are plenty of those already out there). I'm just saying, a custom XS done correctly can be just as beautiful and just as timeless as an original.

That being said, I want to thank everyone who voted for my bike, and everyone who participated. There is truly an incredible collection of skill, knowledge, and bikes on this site.
I'll admit, when I entered my bike, I didn't think it had a snowball's chance in hell of making it in. Let alone getting the cover. It's kinda surreal. But I appreciate it very much, and it's nice to know others appreciate it as much as I do. I'll ride that little bobber tremendous pride from now on!

Thanks again everyone!
Pierre

Wow, I can't believe it. So many great examples of the XS here, from some talented folks! Happy to be along for the ride! Now what? Should I take some better, dedicated photos??

Hi George: I think you should look for an email with instructions about submitting photos and a brief write-up on your bike etc.

Congratulations - what a thrill!!

Pete

Wow, I am just now checking back in - Thanks for voting me into the calendar, despite all the great bikes posted!!! Totally humbled

I am working on the calendar (and still getting photos) Wolds has decided to decline to be in the calendar. His bike is unpainted and would like to finish before being honored in the calendar. Fair enough. James's ride is next in line and now in the calendar.

Calendar should be awesome for sure, great looking bikes, one better than the next, great selection!
Not a calendar grade photos by any stretch but I always liked this guys.
Maybe next year he'll create a bike glamour shot, and who knows, maybe get a shot.

Guys, I am real close to having a proof for the calendars. Per usual, I have had some setbacks with photos and file types etc. I have NOT heard from metal and this is the last bike I need pictures for. If anyone knows him directly please reach out and have him check his messages.

DanielBlack- please be ready on deck if you can have pictures for me asap as you will be going in if I do not hear from him.

Thanks to all for getting me everything needed!

Shawn
