Just wrapped up my build. Thanks to everyone on this site that helped!

That exhaust is spectacular!

Man, that’s super clean! I can’t believe you didn’t write a build thread here!
Thanks, Mailman! I had intentions of doing so but I got too wrapped up in the build and had a deadline to hit. I'm working up the gumption to loop back around to all my photos in progress and make a build thread for it.

Thanks, WT! My first attempt at building a full stainless steel system. Pretty happy with how it turned out. (I did the fabrication, had someone else do the finish TIG welding)

I’m gonna give this guy a plug here. For those of you that have Instagram, he has a page there. Search for Andykawaphoto . More photos and other cool bikes. Good stuff.

79 SF-Hanging out with some buddies after a good clean and polish for the winter months. Had this for sale earlier this year but decided to hang on to it for now. Replaced starter gear, wishbone spring, return spring but still have some run over when using the starter. Next stop...check safety relay and replace if needed.

Thanks gents.

#2 Decal and pin stripe cover up some peeling of the clear coat, so more function than form. Previous owner did a yeoman's job on the paint however, there are a few spots where the clear started to peel and crack. Cost effective way to cover those spots and add a little style, I suppose. Still looking for a good tank to replace this one then I can have some fun with paint experiments with the spare.

Set cam chain and valves on Madness LH cylinder is consistently 20 pounds lower than the RH, looked round with the borescope and there's a bit of scoring down low. a squirt of oil (not 5 ) brought it up. Took it out and rode it round the local backroads. Glad I was NOT on the slab 15 minutes later it was down to a crawl!

Circus city, a neighbor donated the funds for "Lucy" the momma elephant. We still have performing elephants but that era is drawing to a close.
That is beautiful, Gary. Man , you've got all the tricks on that on, eh?
