Clean up the frame

I’m working on cleaning up the frame cutting things off that are not needed. My question is I’m not using the stock tank as you can see. I would like to clean up the neck area of the bike. How much of this bracket (circled in red in pic) can I cut out.

You can remove the Tank mounts but not the gusset underneath.

Or remove the stock gussets and replace them with a pair from Hugh’s or make you own new ones.

Thanks guys. I bought some new gussets from HHB today. So I will be cutting out the old ones and welding in some new ones.
