Too bad you couldnt of kept the original and find another one to do your tracker build. That original was a nice clean machine.

The original one was in a bad condition. I searched for a broken one. The originals in a pefect shape are to expensive for a project like this.
In this case, it was nearly the one and only way to keep this bike alive.
Hope i could help your heart stop bleeding

I agree with ThatXS650Guy. I just couldn`t modify a Standard. Specials are plentyfull here in the midwest and cheap also.
I like your Modified. Great choice of color too.

Thx Junkie
I don‘t like the classic original ones. That is too old school for me.
But i understand the guys who like the original ones.
When i am in your age, perhaps i like the original ones more than the modified ones. We will see.

Ohhhh, a green one, don't see too many of those. A 650E would technically be a '78 model. It appears some parts swapping was going on. The tank and side cover decals are '78, along with the petcocks. The headlight ears are off a Special model and the seat looks like a '79 version (square pleat pattern and more of a "hump").
