Moabiker's Tall Tales

Ramble story...in 1984 i bought yamaha fj1100 and next day i was supposed to fly to las vegas to install machine. Normally drive and park in remote airport lot but since i be in vegas a few weeks took limo instead. Limo was late for morning pickup, i miss flight, and figure i take night flight and have all day to ride new bike, since afternoon flight too late to work that day anyhow.
But i make big mistake and total bike in high speed corner crash and luckily not get hurt but boss not happy at all when i explain my side of story to get ride in. Yamaha was too fast for young rider.

Moabite,
Looking at photos of your bicycle so high up in the hills makes me believe you must have legs Arnold Swarzenegger! I’d have to have somebody tow me up those mountains! Haha! :laugh2:

And the dogs, remind me , when I was a young guy I was lucky to spend a few weeks on this 3,000 acre working cattle ranch in California it was very mountainous terrain and the cattle were allowed to roam free. When the ranchers wanted to go out and find the herd they would take these old open top Jeeps and the dogs would jump in, but the dogs would soon get bored at the slow pace of the Jeeps and they would jump out and go tearing off over the hills and disappear. When we would finally find the cattle, there would be the dogs, just relaxing. Smart dogs they were.

Keep it up buddy, you live in some beautiful country.

Nice assortment of bikes there Moabite,
Couple a KTM's Maybe?, a DR650? the NC Honda. Oh and a good old KLR650, I love them, still thinking of buying one.
And not forgetting your Suzy.
