...Marland Whaley was trials inspiration for me when i was young .
...then he won endurance championship mountain bike in 55 age bracket a few years ago...
...and to pass at 60 too young...

...55-60°f here and mostly shade because in deep forrest...
...10 miles from here where all the tourists wandering in red rock it 105°f and no shade...

...on north face of tall peaks there is still tons snow...

...probably only going 10 mph on most dirt road parts but great ride in my book...

...valley below elevation about 4500 ft above sea level...
...that darkened long rim top at 5500 ft...
...in the mountains i was up to 9,500 ft...
...so i a few skyscrapers up today...
