XS650 No Theme Build

That is so crazy! I can’t believe that worked, they look perfect! I’ve gotta tell you, for me personally, I think this is your nicest bike yet!

Thanks Mailman. I don`t remember who turned me on to this (dye) but it was in the 70`s and I needed red fuel line for a 3-2`s set up on a Model A coupe I had and red fuel line was a thing of the past. Now you can get any color you want at the Go Kart Shop. Colored 1/4" OD line is harder to come by and expensive too.

Waiting on the seat pad and planing the next build. Today I made a key lanyard just in case when I make that trip around the block the key falls out.:yikes:

Thanks 2M. The stroke Left it`s mark. My right arm recovered pretty good but the right leg is another story. Sometimes it just doesn`t do what I want it to do. I know I reference going around the block from time to time. I`m not doubting the motorcycle, I know their good to go, It`s me I`m worried about.:cautious:

Wes at CounterBalanceCycles sent me a email this morning and ask me what I thought about the seat? My reply was Fantastic!!:thumbsup:, send me the bill, and ship it. I can`t wait to get this on the bike so I can free up the lift and start the next build.:shootme:

I can't see your picture. Wes does great work though. I've bought a couple seats from him.

The seat from CounterBalance arrived today. Double boxed and bubble wrapped. Made it all the way from RI to KS with no damage. Amazing!!:yikes: That`s all I needed to finish this project up. I started this build in May of 2018. This is the longest build yet? Finally off the lift and out in the light of day. Finished for 1 hr and already a new bike is on the lift.:jk:.

Thanks everyone. I`ve been out in the garage for a couple hrs just looking at this one and it needs to have a dual disc front wheel (forgot that I shaved the left fork leg) and if I make that change I`ll go with Red wheels. Maybe that`ll give it that 9N Ford tractor look?:yikes:

Thanks peterg. The headlight bucket is a Bates and the mounting brackets are 35mm Ceriani. The upper tree is a polished Old School Speed and the lowers are stock XS650 that have been shaved and silver hammer finish.
