Wanted - 72 xs650 parts

Restoring my beast. Runs like a champ but needs lots of cosmetic pieces.

has electric starter on it now from mikesXS fires right up, frame and engine in superb shape. But tank, wheels and side covered are needed.

Is this what you’re looking for? I bought one of these from EBay seller Niche Cycle. It works well.

I may have the headlight bucket, I'll dig it out in morning and post some pictures, I know it's not perfect but might be usable.

Attaching three pictures of the shell, The bottom edge is the worst part as you can see in the pictures. While not perfect a little work with body filler could make it very acceptable! The high beam indicator is there and works as are the rubber grommets on the mounting holes. Also have the "ears" that mounts it if those are needed.

I could hit the worst of the rusty points with glass beads to give a start to the refinishing work. Did not want to do that yet to be sure the condition is clear.

I have all 8 painted pieces, the complete XS1b candy mandarin orange. Perfect body work, pin striping and badges, side cover badges, etc etc
The paint work is a few years old but these parts were never install on a bike running outside. Always kept inside the house. Very nice and would solve all your cosmetic issues. $2000 - Gas Tank, Headlight Bucket, Fork Ears, 2 rear shocks and both side covers with new rubber bumpers, bolts, badging. Gas tank comes with new chrome oem gas cap and petcocks, let me know, Thanks Jonathan
