1st over with 2nd rings?

Hello gentlemen,
I’ve recently given my cylinders a hone and found they are going to need to be bored out as they have rust pit marks.
The pistons are 1st over and I have new 1st over rings and I’m wondering if I will need to buy 2nd over rings and pistons or can I just buy 2nd over rings if the pistons/cylinder are in spec

Well if you get it bored, the pistons will no longer be in spec. Short answer... you'll need both the pistons and rings.
