PS - this past winter Lakeview and I splurged on a pair of Scala PackTalk Bold helmet sound systems and they truly are everything the reviewers say. We chatted all the way to and from London at...well, sometimes we were going pretty danged fast - and it was pretty much like being in the same car.

The PackTalk Bolds were an upgrade on a pair of Scala Rider Q3s which were good - but these are far superior.

The connection between the two PackTalk units is easy to establish and dead-nuts solid on the road (even when we were out of sight) and the sound quality is excellent.

After I left Lakeview’s place, I had a 50 mile (80 km) ride home to Windsor and I alternated between music and the CBC radio and the sound was just about as good as in my car. Also, the voice commands are easy to use and work perfectly. As one of the reviewers said, after you turn them on, you can do everything you need to do with just the voice commends. No need to learn the arcane buttons.

Highly recommended and if you’ve never tried riding with a sound system, give it a whirl.

Geez man for that price I would hope you'd be pleased with them lol. Maybe I'm just cheap and have low standards for these types of devices but I would never pay that much. I am a poor man lol.

Yep, I use the " Yideng Bluetooth for Motorcycle Helmet Headset Wireless Intercom Interphone BT-S2 Walkie-Talkie Supports FM Radio GPS Voice Command Music Hands-Free up to 3 Riders Communication in 1000m(Single) $50 bucks. Works very well for son-in-law and I.

I couldn't have been more excited than to be on my first XS650 excursion of the season to the Catskill Mountains yesterday, an area I call My Second Home.

High atop Mount Pisgah on Rt 10 (a favorite place to eat my sandwich) it was just as I had left it in October, although with springtime colours. . . Just across the road was a dilapidated barn, typical of this economically-depressed area.. .

Wildlife was sprouting up everywhere, especially in a field near Jewitt on 23C where I found a Chevy Biscayne growing.
