Whats your weather right now?

Steve and I are on the bottom of this upper level low circulation and Jim is on the top of the circulation.
It' has spawned 7 or 8 squall lines here in the past 10 days.
I've been getting you guys's leftovers. Getting tire of that shit. If Texas can't wring the moisture out Jim needs to!

That blob of red to the south in Twomany's radar was a a tornado that came through here...

Y'know, I had a feeling.

That blob rapidly developed just about over me, things got really dark really quick. I was outside, lightning bolt hit a few hundred feet north of me, then it all dumped. Heavy rain, pea to marble-size hail, strong winds. Then it got weird. Wind kept changing direction, then dead calm, then more wind and rain, trees whipping every which way, roaring sounds. Couldn't see anything, just too dark, grey-out.

It moved southward.

*Then* all the weather alerts lit up.

Yee-haw!

*glub* again.

We were supposed to get a full week of dry, clear weather.
Wha happent?

We have been under a heat warning advisory all week end. I think we had 107*F yesterday. 70 for lows.. A touch of sprinkles at night.

Over 100*F but mostly clear. Some winds. Had a lightning storm in the Catalina's over the WE. Western half had a fire or 2 started and it's been burning ever since. its been named the Bighorn Fire. I can see some of it from my front window. Back in '03 there was a big fire that burned most of Summerhaven and Ski Valley communities down. Both rebuilt.

Ive been watching that Bighorn Fire in the news. Man I hate these things.

Standby Evacuation warning in the foothills. LOTS of smoke. Choppers doing water drops. Thank goodness Monsoon season is coming. Never thought I'd say that...

My friends in Tucson live in the foothills of the Catalinas..but they're further east from Sabino canyon..Rugged terrian on the backside was allowed to burn..because it was naturally caused and didnt threaten any structures...But it has grown and spread out..and has encroached into residential areas..I dont think they were aggressive enough trying to put it out ,..Last i heard the fire has burned 7000+ acres... I used to play and do much of my recreation in the catalina mtns...and indeed in the desert your mountains are your oasis...I doubt monsoon rains will be in force to extinquish this fire... Crap this isnt anywhere near contained...
