Whats your weather right now?

This area has a significantly longer season even than London, 90 minutes up the road. The plants are started in a greenhouse though and transplanted into the field by guest workers that are brought in for the whole summer.
Peppers are also grown outdoors the same way as well as hemp, sugar beets, onions, popping corn, carrots, beets, cabbage, cauliflower, human corn, various squashes and pie pumpkins along with farmer staples of corn, winter wheat, soybeans and a whole lot more I can't id from the driver's seat.
I can see the condensate stack of the ethanol factory from my drive. Note also all the white wind turbines in the picture. From my back yard, I can see more than a dozen without moving my feet.

Yesterday’s dust storm, we usually get 3 or 4 of these every summer. They occur when big thunderstorm clouds collapse and push cold air down and then out when they hit the ground. This wasn’t even a big one as far as they go. Calling for 114 degrees today! :yikes:

A quote from a news report yesterday. It did say it hadn't been corroborated..............Stand corrected Greg..........

No big deal. Hot is hot.
For a weight challenged looking girl she's not even breaking a sweat.
If I was there I wouldn't be smiling I would be gasping for air.

Rain and cold.

Forecast is for 2" of rain to be followed by 'unseasonal' windy conditions. Gales in fact which will cause disruption because the trees are in full leaf.

Where's our summer?
