Looking to convert the crankcase breather on my ‘76 from a dual outlet to a single. Please message me if you have a single for sale and how much you are asking for it. Thx

I changed mine to a single outlet. The “Y” outlet is just pressed in and very easy to remove. I taped mine with a 3/8-18 pipe tap and got a fitting at a hardware

Just as an update... I removed the “Y” fitting from the base. Went and bought a 3/8” npt tap and 90 degree fitting. Turns out the hole is much larger than the tap. I believe it’s 1/2” npt. Will report more later. Thx

That does look better. Maybe I’ll keep looking for one but will mod mine in the meantime. Is it baffled as well?

I actually carefully trimmed the "baffle" of the 79 so that it would fit into the 80's low cast item. It fits well. And I think it is a good idea

Not a filter. I just ran a hose out to an automotive brake booster check valve and then down.

Sorry about the tap size. My old brain forgets sometimes.

So far on this 79 engine I've just drive way test ran and only up to 3rd gear a couple days. I see no dripping yet. I do not suggest allowing the potential drip to make it in front of the rear tire!
In the past I ran the dual outlet breather pipes to the UNI Pod filters as 5twins pics show. Did not notice any venting on that 78 either.
It is still a question as to how necessary it is to catch the potential drip to me. :umm:

I am looking for another single out breather like this one for the 78E now. Thank You
