That was way too much stand up comedy for me... I bought my XS for $500 and it even had a title!

***UPDATE***
--for anyone in Georgia or near the bike I reached out to the seller and here is the response--

"I bought it from a guy in AL about a month ago, I buy/fix/sell on CL and FB Mktplace frequently. This bike has been sitting up for years. It has a lot of rust, but it also has good bones. I borrowed a battery from the MC shop where I work to test the electrical system and everything works including the electric starter. A fuel system clean and a battery and new ignition points(which I have) would most likely have her running again. no title, GA bill of sale only, Firm on 975"

I think the $12,000 was a zero too many
Still a little pricy for me, but I know some pockets are deeper than others

In Georgia, no title required or provided on vehicles older than 1986. So, you can certainly get a Georgia tag if you live there and the VIN isn't reported stolen. Some states, like Pennsylvania will not accept Georgia's NO TITLE policy.
