Thats a nice amp! Judging by the dual drive pots I'm guessing it was based on a Jim Marshall circuit? Its very reminiscent of a Sovtek Mig50. I got my first tube amp from my Dad (he didn't build it). It was a 1974 Ampeg V4 100w behemoth that I added a master volume to and totally rebuilt. It started a lifelong love of vintage amps and instruments. I've been building em and repairing them ever since.

Rusty, you are a man after my own heart. I too love old instruments and amplifiers. But don’t have your skills to restore them. I’d love to see some of your work, but maybe not here as it’s a motorbike forum......shame:thumbsdown:

Here's a Tele I built from a big ass piece of maple, and a 1968 Fender Bassman I rescued.

Fantastic. Love the vintage look of the amps. Not familiar with the Tele Neck.
You are a clever fella.
I made that neck, I had the Decal made, My name is Fletcher. Its otherwise made from Fender blueprints to same specs as they made Telecasters in the early 60's.

Congratulations to the calendar spots.
Off topic but Friday I was at a church flea market .Bought a classical guitar
Luna LG -10 with only one string on . Looked OK and sounded OK $ 10
Put on a set of used strings I had not thrown away and tried to tune it.
To Check If the neck was straight
Getting closer I put it aside .With the plan do the rest the day after.
Not good at changing strings so rarely do it ... think it is a hassle getting it right
Especially with the fender whammy with springs .. takes for ever.

Next day on the Luna 3 strings was broken all the wound .. over the night So today I went buying a new set
$ 15 So I am on that right now in front of the TV
Cant really play but I own instruments. Can always give this one away to a kid in the neighborhood

“NOR-TONE” did your band mate call you ‘No-Tone’?
:lmao: It turns out that I am not the best guitar player. I had fun with it, had a band in high school, but if I am being honest with myself... I am terrible. "No-Tone" is a fair title!

@RustiePyles, let me see if I can dig up some specs on the amp. This was built what is going on 20 years ago o_O. I'll post in the musical instruments thread with what I can find.

WINNERS: Please send me a private message with an email address for me to invite you to drop your photos and information to. I will be setting up a folder for each of the entries on dropbox.

Did you guys PM Shawn with your email addresses? I just asked in case you missed that part.
