Yeah, I left the stock ears in place - the 750 tank ears clear them when installing it. I do use the stock post at the rear but had to get a short "elevator" fabbed up that slips over the stock post to support the rear of the 750 tank high enough so that the fuel hoses coming horizontally off the 750 petcocks clear the tops of the carburetors.
I'm working on a side hinged seat pan now to be able to clear the tail end of the tank. Need to remove about an inch of metal from the front.
I've worked the rear mount of the tank to where it's not angled. I believe I'll be fine with the petcock as its an aftermarket with an output option of left or right and has a 180 degree output fitting or a straight output fitting choice.
Doing this on a Standard frame, no sidecover mount in the way.
