yeah it runs fine just has a noise, im gonna ride it till i cant anymore and in the winter im gonna try and break it all down, thanks for all the help

thanks, ive been reading places about the noise and mikes xs said that the cam guide breaks and the chain will cut through an aluminum shaft and thats what causes the noise..

where is the sump strainer at?

i drained all the oil today the only filter i know about is the one on the very bottom (rectangleish one) and there were a few finelly shreaded peices of metal stuck to the small im guesing they are magnets and i cleaned them off and put new oil in.

TeeCat does yours make that noise?

is it ok to drive while making that noise? its my only form of transportation. about how long does it take to fix how much?

i have the same problem, my bike runs great it just whines up when i rev it and while its ideling, i rode it 50 miles the other day and didnt notice anything different about how it drives just the noise is annoying.

my motor makes a whinning noise when i rev it up, the bike starts up fine drives fine but has a noise that sounds like i have a supercharger on it, any ideas what it could be??
