well, I only saw one rear wheel in the pic and if it is a 16" and still available I am def going to scoop it up. I saw in one of your other posts that you are looking to switch to wires and I will have an 18 wire rear I would let go cheap if I get a new rear.

thanks for the replies guys, I picked up another motor from the salvage yard that sold me the bike. It's a 79, in good shape but missing the entire shift shaft assemby, alt housing, both covers and the clutch assembly. the guy let me have it with the BEAUTIFUL carbs that were on it for only $50...

I was also looking into this hardtail. I would love to hear any feedback. One thing I like about his hardtail is that you retain the lower/rear mounts for the engine where most make you cut that section out.
