It's got really nice forks and a 16" disk brake mag. Crusty BS34's too.
Engine is from an 80 and is out. Needs rebuild and whatever bits I took off to build my bike.
I'm guessing that if things are being tightened down so much that it's mashing other things requiring you to grind down said things, you have many other things wrong that are keeping the bike from running.
Are you sure it's compression you are feeling when you kick it over or is something...

I have to use them from time to time at work thanks to some very hamfisted co-workers who chew up fixtures and put them back on the shelf for the next guy. I'm guessing 90% of the "technicians" I work with wouldn't know what a thread file was anyway.
Has anyone done this? I'm concerned that the lower voltage "flickering" at idle may be a problem for LEDS. I've read online that they will work down to 2vdc. Anyone know for sure?
