    Headphones

Have you looked into a Bluetooth unit like a Sena or Cardo? Probably has more function than you're looking for, but has speakers that go into the helmet. Also snowboard helmet speakers might fit in the helmet as well. I'm not sure if they would be loud enough for moto use or not.

What would you classify this as?

I think that might be what I like best, everyone has a different view of it. Definitely the basis for my build when I get back to it. I'm building it "for the wife", what that really means is I'm building it as I want it, but will let her ride it to get her into riding. She has wanted a bike...

Just out of curiosity - Airplane Guys

I know the feeling! I work on F16s every day and when I'm in the cockpit I still make noises. Sometimes when I'm running the engine I make pew pew sounds...hahaha There is a really cool museum in Speyer Germany, they have a 747 way up on a stick, except you can climb stairs to it and explore...

Just out of curiosity - Airplane Guys

This is tough, as an F16 mechanic I want to say that, but there are just so many! In no particular order... P38 Lightning P51 Mustang B25 Mitchell DC3/C47 C-130 (so many possibilities with this plane, drop a bomb, build a gunship, mobile hospital, land and take off from a carrier, can't even...

What would you classify this as?

I agree, I didn't view it as Cafe, I felt more of a Brat/tracker if you swapped the seat. Didn't really think bobber too much, but I can see it.

What would you classify this as?

I've been looking at this particular bike for awhile as my inspiration. I've shown friends, some of them call it a cafe, others a tracker, what would you say? Link here for more pictures of this bike!

    My First Project

It's been about 8 years since I've been able to do anything with my bike. Got married, had an unexpected pregnancy, joined the Air Force and got stationed in Germany. Like an idiot I didn't bring the bike with me. This summer I'm supposed to move back to the states and I'll be able to get...

    Wanted - 650 Parts in Germany/Europe

I am currently stationed in Germany. I was working on a project back in the states, but left it there. I regret this decision horribly right now. Anyway, I am looking for something to get started on again(I hadn't made much progress anyways). So I would like to find an engine possibly, or a...

    Could it be my brushes?

Thanks Gary, you really have been very helpful during this whole thing. I'll have to give that a look tomorrow. I think the thing that confuses me the most is that it was running just fine, and after running it for about 5 or 10 minutes I wasn't able to get it started again, it kept kicking...

    Could it be my brushes?

gggGary, It backfires when I kick it. I have dislocated my ankle twice now trying to start the bike... I believe I am getting it setup correctly, pushing the piston to the top of the compression stroke, allowing the starter to come all the way back up, then pushing down all the way. Take...

    Could it be my brushes?

    Would that cause the backfire?

    Could it be my brushes?

I pulled it apart and this is something interesting I found. Is this possibly the problem??

    Could it be my brushes?

I did disconnect plug wires and reinstall them to swap motors, but it ran after that just fine.
