The bullhorns are never going back on lol. I just swapped the plugs and it did the trick. I guess when they sat for those couple weeks it was the straw that broke the camel's back. I also picked up a blade-style fuse box from Autozone. I didn't see the 15amp limit, but I'll check it out. Seems...
I still have the stock glass fuses. The connections seems good, but maybe I should just go ahead and swap to a pronged fuse box. Could I pick up the parts for a swap of the fuse box at auto zone?
Hello,
I just swapped out my bullhorns for a some powder-coated bars from Zombie Performance, and now the bike is missing real bad. I have filed and sanded down all of the points of grounding from the controls to the bars. I have also taken the controls apart and made sure I didn't pull apart...
I just got done tearing her down and it looks like my forks are actually fine. It seems it was just the bent fender that was throwing my alignment off. The steering stop was dangling, so I'll have to work on getting that reattached. Might just throw some JB weld on it for the time being. Looking...
Hahah very accurate video, xjwmx. I will get to tearing things down tonight. He will be paying for new parts haha. I will probably use this as an excuse to get rid of the silly handlebars too.
So, I made the mistake of letting my friend rip my bike in a parking lot and he ended up in the bushes after about 10 seconds of glory.
I've uploaded some photos of the damage, but as far as I can tell the lower front forks are toast, gas tank is obviously dented, and front fender is bent.
I...
I am getting 13.7 volts at 3000 rpms and 13.9 at around 5000 rpms. It is charging good though. I have been riding it and it has been maintaining a charge
Hello everyone. In case any one is wondering how things ended up panning out ...
I bought a stator and rotor from gggGary, and just got done installing them. I am not getting 13.7 volts when above 3000 rpms. I'm hoping this is close enough, as I don't know what else the issue could possibly be...
I do have a stock TCI system, so I will go with weekendrider's recommendation. How long does it typically take to have customrewind rewind a rotor? And about how much do they usually charge? I will call them tomorrow, but it would be nice to have an idea.
I'm glad you were able to steer me...
I was not able to measure the ohms from the white to the frame or from the rotor to the frame. My multimeter wouldn't read anything. I am assuming this is because is it infinity, but I could be wrong.
I hadn't originally measured the ohms on the rotor because I passed the slap test, and was...
Sorry for the late response. I have been trying to do as much troubleshooting as I can on my own the last couple of days.
The fuel overflow stopped the next time I tried to start it. Maybe just a stuck float?
The clutch is adjusted and working.
HOWEVER, I still am not getting 14v...
Changed the screws back to their correct places. I checked out the rotor and there doesn't appear to be any scratches, surprisingly enough. Putting everything back on, the bike now fires, but I am getting gas out my left airfilter, but only when I am starting it. It soon chokes out after firing...
Okay, thank you. Is there a place I should be looking for a diagram as to which screws go where? I will take the stator off tonight and check for damage.
