Hi, my name is Ahmed Taleb & after 7 years in the garage, my '73 TX build finally hit the streets this summer. I'd like to self-nominate it for the calendar. (updated to meet actual nomination instructions)
So far I love it. I wanted to (hopefully) have a fresh engine with just a little more compression & power. Oddly enough, we had to change main jets about 5 times to get the VM34s to run right - currently a 90 in there vs.150-160 (or so I'm told)
Thank you! At the moment, she's LOUD. I haven't sorted out mufflers so it's been straight pipes for the first few shakedown rides. Pulls strong though (700 kit, lightened/welded crank, shell #1 cam, ported heads)
