The carbs and wheel are still for sale - the rest of the parts are sold. Will ship the carbs but will not ship the wheel. (I'm located in Los Angeles.)

My bike was stolen recently so now I have some parts I'd like to get rid of. Most of what I still have are spare filters, gaskets, etc, but there are some decent parts: 18" aluminum rim - decent shape, a little dirty, 1 ding '82 carbs - cleaned by oldskool carbs and put on a shelf + throttle...

When I bought this '82 Special around 1.5 years ago, she was stock and ran fine. I then went down the frustrating and fruitless path of installing a PMA kit and capacitor... After some advice and parts from the people who make this forum so great I went back to a stock charging system, and now...

It doesn't look like the brake plate cover is with the hub. Attached is a picture I took this morning.

Not sure about the brake plate, or the drum. But when I had them on my bike they worked fine, as far as I could tell. If you can let me know what exactly to check for I can let you know about the plate and drum. And I can look into shipping next week for you.

Prob too small. I tried an aluminum YZ250 tank but it was too short. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I would say it’s more of a bobber - see pic. But I don’t really have a look or style I’m going for.

WTB a tank for my '82. Doesn't need to be off an XS650. Am more interested in alternatives that will fit with little modification - maybe an XT500 or RD350 tank? Open to any/all suggestions. Thanks!
