You think it's just the seal? It's leaking where the cable goes into the housing that screws into the motor.

The aluminum mount on my speedo cable broke when fiddling with my gauges so i'll need a new speedo cable. Looking for a nice used one for a 79 special 19" front wheel. Let me know, thanks.

The bike was running really rich before the rebuild, i rode it for 1 day before tearing it apart. I rejetted it with what i mentioned above based on 5twins advice and it is running better but still a bit rich. I need to get new filters and am just wondering what i can get away with.

1979 xs650 special with bs38's (137.5 mains with #30 pilots per your recommendation back in October of last year :) ) These pods look like crap and are old and brittle so i'm looking for an upgrade.

For arguments sake, i don't want to go with the stock airbox. I am keeping the stock exhaust for now though, if i go with UNI filters what would you recommend for a re-jet to enhance performance?

Hey guys, i have bs38 pods with stock jetting running some old k&n oval shaped filters. Looking for the XS to breathe a little better, some people have recommended UNI filters. What do you guys recommend i go with and am able to keep the stock jetting? Thanks
