Seriously disappointed about this Marty. I started going about five years ago with my oldest son and this would have been the third year my wife and younger son would have joined us. We have such a good time going I’m seriously bummed. Plus I won’t be able to run in to you at the swap meet!
I got used to it last year MaxPete when I won the "Hauley" award! Maybe I'll get my wife to drop off the camper this year so I can avoid that award again.
I'll definately be there. I've been looking forward to it since last year! I just hope the weather is as good as last year. We've been getting so much rain this summer, hopefully it will taper off by then. I've got my spot reserved and hoping to bring both xs650 and xs1100. The 650 for the...
Gary, just wanted to let you know I sent your pipes out on Thursday USPS. They told me they would arrive on Tuesday. If any issue let me know and I'll shoot you the tracking info. Thanks again.
Ok, I got everything boxed up and priced for shipping per USPS:
Exhaust to 53913 $50 shipping + 50 = $100 total
Battery box to 17522 $12 shipping + 18 = $30 total
Seat to 96049 $42 + 50 = $92 total
Seat to 32601 $18 + 50 = $68 total
Air box and M/C to 49738 $18 + 50 = $68 total
The rest of...
Hey Bob, they quoted me about 70 plus packing on the seat today and I was trying to keep it at about $100 bucks total. So let me check on usps tomorrow after I box it myself.
Ok just a heads up. I went to the local UPS store today and looked at packaging and shipping specifically the exhaust and seat. The quotes were insane! Or at least I thought they were. They said it was because of the size and that they were west of the Mississippi???? I did get a quote on an...
I will be boxing everything up that has been asked about and checking on shipping charges today. Sorry Daddygcycles, I need the front pegs (at least for now)! Haha.
I'll have to check Gary. I've never shipped anything that big before. I can get back to you by Wednesday if that's ok? I'm thinking $50 plus the shipping which I'm pretty sure should be less than another 50 so the total should be less than $100. But that's just a guess. If that sounds reasonable...
These parts came off my project this past year and are all in pretty decent shape. Not trying to make a killing here by any means. I simply wouldn't mind recouping some of the costs of this project and maybe help somebody along at the same time. When I bought my bike it only had about 7200 miles...
