Thanks for that. I was about to list the bike for sale. Of course with a new ignition, I still can't unlock the gas tank, seat lock or forks. I have seen that the 75 and earlier use a different style key from 76 and onward.

The only key was stolen out of the ignition during a garage break in. Little shits stole two cans of gasoline and took the key from the motorcycle. Anyone had to get a new key made. I am hoping a locksmith could make one if I brought the ignition switch in. Appreciate any comments.

I had a 73 TX750 back in 74. Balancer made a funny sound but it never failed me. Drove it from Vancouver BC down through Seattle to North Bend Oregon on Nov 15th. Shivered for 3 days.

Recently I got seat ma8led from Seattle. The guy sent it by first class mail. The postage was almost double the price of the seat. Lol Thats why I would prefer it sent parcel post. But whatever works, works. Bob

Cool, thanks for that. The guy I got it from did some things to make it into a low buget scrambler, but he didn't destroy it. Front fender is missing alright. He cut quite a bit of length out of the mufflers. You should hear it bark! Sounds like a Triumph Bonneville.
